Today, I drove pass a lady who could’ve been your twin.  I thought of you and said a prayer.  I had no idea today was the anniversary of your passing.  It’s hard to imagine it’s been three years since you left this earthly realm.  I pray for you and the many lives you touched over the years.  This past week I reflected on a day you and I shared in tears reflecting on the loss of our spouses.  Today, I’m more grateful than ever to have shared that time in reflection with you.  Sleep easy Charlene.  May God hold and keep you.  Tony and family.

I carry Charlene with me every day not only due to our working relationship and all the things she taught me over the years but also because the life she lived out in front of me every day; the quiet moment of encouragement; taking/making the time to just check up on me; and she did not have to but she did on the saddest days of my life, she was the first person there. Life changes and life moves on but there are treasures from the past we carry with us through life. I will carry the treasures of faith, loyalty, and friendship.

Hard to believe it has been a year she has been gone from earth, but I know in my heart she is singing in Heavenly .

I was deeply saddened to hear about Charlene.  I worked at Richland for many years and knew her when she would attend our meetings.  She was a kind hearted lady with a beautiful smile that lit up the room when she walked in.  I know she will be missed by her family and friends but may the good memories sustain you through this difficult time. 

I will miss working with Charlene. She was a joy to work with and always the first to respond when I had a question. The last email I had from her was a smiley face when I told her my granddaughter was coming home from NICU. Charlene was praying for my granddaughter and was so encouraging to me. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and her Prisma Health family. It was a pleasure to know and work with Charlene. 🙏❤️

I had the opportunity to work with Charlene at the hospital.  She was always full of joy and her smile was contagious.  I was so sorry to hear of her passing.  My condolences to the family and friends.  I know she will be sorely missed by all and hope the good memories of Charlene will sustain you all in this sad time.

My words cannot fully express the sorrow I feel for the loss of Charlene.  It was an honor to work

Working with Charlene was a pleasure. She was smart and friendly. I remember when we transitioned to a new patient payment system 5 years ago how helpful she was in making sure that her people were in compliance.  A great part of my day was during the times I would see her walking on the first floor of the Colonial Life Building.  Just a glimpse of her even from a distance gave me a feeling of stability. 

I remember Charlene well from our 4 years on the second floor of Belk dorm at Presbyterian College. With her red hair and infectious smile, she was a force of nature and would pull you in with her positive spirit. 
My prayers go out to her family and friends who had the opportunity to know her after our college years. I know that her passing leaves a void not easily filled. 

It saddens me to hear of the passing of Ms. Charlene. It was a pleasure to be able to work with her at Prisma Health. Unknowingly  she helped me at a very rough time in my life and I really appreciate everything that she has done for me and her team at Prisma Health.  She had a kind heart and was very loving. She was great at her job and kept everyone’s best interest at heart. I send my deepest condolences to the family during this time. You will truly be missed and will always be remembered.

To Charlene’s family thank you so much for sharing the gift of this jewel with us! What stood out the most to me about Charlene is how she made it her business everyday to walk around and greet everyone by name! Always encouraging and if we didn’t know anything else we knew she had our backs! Sleep in eternal peace! Your life was an example of kindness and genuine concern! Charlene was a caring and kind person. I enjoyed our conversation when she was on campus at Prisma Health Baptist. She will be missed. May God comfort and strengthen the family.

Charlene was one of my best friends in high school at SHS. Charlene and I rode together to have our senior pictures made. I will always remember her beautiful long red hair and her sweet , caring spirit!! My deepest sympathies to Charlene’s family.

I had the pleasure of working with Charlene for many years at Palmetto now Prisma Health. Family, may the memories you hold in your heart bring healing and peace. R.I.P my friend. 

My life will forever be changed for the better because of Charlene. Her patience with me was as near to Job as one could get and her grace was even more abundant. Her wisdom and steadfast commitment will be forever missed. I praise God and her family for sharing her with us.

Charlene will be sorely missed in her leadership role at Prisma Health, by her church, and family. 
 I had the pleasure of serving on the Palmetto Health Credit Union Board with Charlene; she  served in numerous roles and was an asset to the credit union. I will miss  her presence on the board, including that beautiful smile and dimples. 


 

Charlene was a joy to be around.  I remember that she loved the color pink, and that she looked very lovely wearing it.  Praying for Charlene and for all those who love and miss her.

Charlene was always ready with a smile and a laugh.  We in the Sojourners Life Group will greatly miss her.

To say I'm shocked is a complete understatement.  Far too often we shared tears of great grief in your office while remembering our cherished spouses who preceded us in death.  I can only imagine how joyful you are to be home with your heavenly family; especially Jeff.  I pray peace and comfort for your beloved Prisma Health family--I can't imagine your leadership team will ever look at a meeting agenda the same again.  Thank you so very much for opportunity, counsel and being the epitome of what it means to welcome a new employee into your work family.   I pray your soul rests in knowing you touched many in profound ways.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Charlene for many years and she was an exceptional, caring person who took great pride in helping staff and patients. She will be greatly missed. 

I’ve known Charlene for 31 years and I’ve been proud to call her friend. She always found a way to make me laugh. I’ll miss her so much. Wishing peace for her family and friends.
