Catherine "Cathy" E. Richards

Memorial service for Catherine E. Richards, 43, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Cathy passed away Friday, December 18, 2015. Born in Danvers, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of Charles F. Bader and the late Beverly J. Cunningham. Cathy was a 1990 graduate of Western High School in Davie, Fl. She received her BS in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and her MS in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Cathy was a Lead Sourcing Specialist with Westinghouse and previously was a Senior Contract Specialist with the South Florida Water Management District for over 14 years. She was an active member of East Lake Community Church participating in various voluntary positions. She loved the beach, the ocean, reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends. She will be greatly missed by her Australian Shepherd, Romeo, aka, the Moose and Amber. Cathy was also a fervent Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Surviving in addition to her father, Charles, are her sisters, Kristie Bader, Becky Stasko (Andrew); brothers, Cameron Bader, Kevin Viars (Lauren), James Miller (Renee), Gordon Cunningham, and Karl Cunningham (Shelly). She is also survived by her grandfather, William Ward, step-mother, Joan Bader and step-father, Gordon Cunningham.
