Robert D Kenedy

Robert was born in Tulsa Oklahoma to Truman and Violet Kenedy on May 30, 1954, he was the youngest of four children. Robert was the father of three; Robert II, Jason and Robin, He was also a Grandfather to 13 and a great grandfather to 9.

Robert was a long time resident of Iowa Park. He graduated from Burkburnett High School. He spent his life working for the City of Wichita Falls and was a Volunteer Fireman for the city of Iowa Park. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his shop, gardening, spending time with his family and chatting with his friends. Robert enjoyed escaping to the Wichita Mountains for a fun day trip every chance he got. Robert loved everyone and it was easy for everyone to love him.

Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, oldest son Robert II, grandson Brandon and great grandbabies Taylor Aguilar and Baby Kenedy, his parents and his siblings.

Robert is survived by his son Jason and grandchildren LJ, Maria and Ryan of Iowa Park. Daughter Robin, her husband Bear and grandchildren Ethan and Lilyanna of Godley, Texas, grandchildren Brent Kenedy, Bambie Kenedy, Katelynn Haynie, John Crocker II, Nickolas Matthews, Shyann Matthews, and Allison Matthews, great grandchildren John Crocker III, Levi Davis, Karson Davis, Brenley Nicholas, Ensley Nichols, Sophia Aguilar, Blakey Kenedy, many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Robert will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E Cash St, Iowa Park, Texas 76367.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Iowa Park Fire Department or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
