Robert Carl Halady

Robert Carl Halady, known affectionately as Bob, passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 82 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born on April 3, 1942, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Audrey Tinsman and Doris Manley. Bob's early life laid the foundation for a man who would enjoy studying the Bible and attending church.

He was stationed in Amarillo, TX when he met the love of his life, Mary Elms. On January 23,1965, they were married and together they raised four children.

Bob served with honor in the United States Air Force where he specialized in computers. Following his military service, he dedicated 30 years to the United States Postal Service.

Beyond his professional life, Bob was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, fishing, and the outdoors. He loved music and singing in the church choir. He also cherished the moments he spent with his wife taking dance lessons. They had a lot of fun joining other couples with dinner and dancing.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary Halady; their children: Bobby Halady, Michele Helwig (Mark), Cheri Norris (Mac Sr.), Lisa Loyd (Jimmy); his grandchildren: Denise Green, Allen Bernstein Jr., Christian Halady, Mac Norris Jr., Collin Halady, Rachel Norris, Cooper Norris, Dawson Loyd; and many great-grandchildren.

He also leaves behind siblings: Jayne Panewicz , Marilyn Beneski, and Alan Tinsman.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Audrey Tinsman, mother, Doris Manley Brown, and siblings Carolyn Winchester and Thomas Tinsman.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on October 25, 2024 at 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E. Cash Iowa Park, Tx 76367
