Marshall William Suitt, aged 74, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Born on October 7, 1950, in Sweetwater, Texas, Marshall was a true Texan at heart, he loved everything western, even fancy cowboy boots.
Marshall had a lengthy career as a contracted welder, dedicating 45 years to his craft.
A man of faith, Marshall was an active member of the Iowa Park Church of Christ. His life was marked by a profound love for football, particularly his high school football career, which he often reminisced about with great enthusiasm and pride.
Marshall is survived by his daughter, Carissa Partridge and her husband, Curt, of Iowa Park, Texas; his son, Brody Suitt of Crosby, Texas; his sister, Marilyn Pittman of Burkburnett, Texas; his granddaughters, Chloe and Carter Partridge of Iowa Park, Texas; his dearest friend Cindy Suitt; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Wayne Suitt and Mary Ann Medlin Suitt, and his sister, Margaret Grove.
The family extends their gratitude to the Sheridan Lodge for their excellent care and the warm environment they provided, making it a true home for Marshall during his time there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iowa Park Church of Christ or the Friendly Door, organizations that were close to Marshall's heart.
The Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas, is assisting the family during this time. Marshall's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by the family with a private service in Odessa, Texas.
