Joyce Barbara Johnson Baston

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2015, in the Pavilion at Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park, with Joshua Logan Stephenson, grandson, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Joyce was born August 26, 1933 in Lac qui Parle Township, Minnesota, to parents, John Johnson and Lena (Enger) Johnson. She married Frank Baston on November 4, 1955, in Iowa Park. She was a homemaker and served in the U.S. Air Force. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, Sr., a brother and four sisters.

Survivors include a son, Frank Baston, Jr., of Chicago, Illinois; three daughters, Catherine Baston-Miller, of Raleigh, North Carolina; Wendy Hawkins, of Glenn Heights, Texas; and Sherron Baston-Hughes, of Wichita Falls, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; and 3 great granddaughters.
