Helen Louise Miller

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, with Rev. Glen Pearce, pastor, officiating. There will be a private family burial under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller was born July 21, 1930 in Iowa Park where she was a lifetime resident. She was a 1947 graduate of W.F. George High School.

She married Glen R. Miller on April 11, 1952 in Iowa Park. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents Herman and Lila Mitchell; sisters Maye Kelley, Tommy Horton, Patsy McNabb and brother Harry Lee (Bud) Mitchell.

She is survived by Glen, her husband of nearly 60 years; four daughters: Glena Via and husband, Kenneth of Iowa Park, Nancy Gholson and husband, Jerry of Iowa Park, Susan Stucki and husband, Jerry of Canadian and Mary Boone and husband, David of Grand Cane, Lousiana; grandchildren: Emily Gholson Baker and husband, Lane, Drew Gholson and wife, Heather, Ashley Stucki Edgar and husband, Darrell, Grant Stucki and wife, Kenzie, Max Kelly, Zach Kelly and Alex Boone; great grandchildren: Grayson and Kannon Baker; a sister, Artie Magee, an uncle Gober Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is at Dutton Funeral Home 6:00 – 7:30 Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
