Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Earl Correl officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Harold was born October 20, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma to Alton and Ina Jackson Swanson. He and Audrey Brown were married February 12, 1949 in Temple, Oklahoma. Harold was a retired assistant manager for Parker Food Stores and A&P Food Stores. He was a Baptist.
His father and mother, and wife, Audrey, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Russell Swanson of Gause, Texas, Davey Swanson of Iowa Park, Texas, Mary Means of Woodlands, Texas, Delma Ensey of Iowa Park, Texas, Steve Swanson of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jason Swanson of Fort Worth, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Norma Wren of Stanton, Texas, Jo Ann Lane of Odessa, Texas and Bobby Swanson of Odessa, Texas.
