Cory Don Blaine, 36, was called home on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Iowa Park, Texas. A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Evangel Temple in Wichita Falls, Texas with Pastors Kile and Patti Bateman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 27, 2018 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
Cory was born on September 29, 1981 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Randy Blaine and Debbie (Jones) Welborn. He was a 2001 graduate of Holliday High School. Cory worked for North Texas Mobile Truck Service with his dad until his dad's passing in 2013. In 2014, he proudly opened Blaine's Diesel Service where he continued to provide outstanding service to his loyal customers. Cory was active in the Iowa Park Baseball Association where he served as president and coached the Iowa Park Rangers. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing. Cory's greatest accomplishment in life was being a dad to Wyatt Case Blaine.
Surviving relatives include his son, Wyatt of Iowa Park; mom, Debbie Welborn and husband, Leland of Wichita Falls; brother, DeWayne Keller and wife, Kendall of Bandera, Texas; sister, Krystal Ross and husband, Joseph of Wichita Falls; brother, Colton Blaine of Vernon, Texas; sister, Sarah Smith of Nocona, Texas. "Uncle Coco" is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Daysia, KayCee, Christian, Mack, Gemma, Goldie, McKenzie, and Kenleigh; and two lifetime running buddies, Matt Tucker and Nathan Davis.
