Benny Wayne Hopkins

Benny graduated from Rider High School and spent eight years as the General Manager at Dollar General in Quanah, Texas, where he was respected for his leadership and dedication. His passion for extravagant holiday light displays and travels, especially cruises to Cancun, brought joy not only to him but also to those around him. He married the love of his life, Chad Grant, on February 24, 2016, in Quanah, Texas, marking a significant chapter of his life filled with love and companionship.

Benny is survived by his husband, Chad Grant; his mother, Lois Hopkins; and his sister, Zoey Hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, C. E. Hopkins, and his brothers, Gerald and Dwain Hopkins.

A visitation for Benny will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E Cash St, Iowa Park, Texas 76367. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Highland Cemetery, 826 Rogers Rd, Iowa Park, Texas 76367.
