Anne Isabell MacDougall

MacDougall Anne Isabell, Age 76, I regret to announce the passing of my sister Anne who passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, after a long but courageous fight with cancer.

Anne was a daughter of the late Peter and Annie Bell (Walker) Muise

She was a member of Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Inverness.

Although Anne and her husband were not blessed with children, she loved every child she knew, and was very kind to everyone.

In her lifetime, she always enjoyed a good game of auction, and bingo.

Anne worked for many years at MacDonald Hall, Inverness, and treated, and loved the residents there, like they were her own family.

Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Ronald (Ran) MacDougall; four brothers, and one sister.

She left to mourn sister, Kaye (Parr) MacDougall, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anne’s request was that there be no wake or viewing.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in Stella Maris Church, Inverness on Wednesday November 26, from 10 -10:45 am. with funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society or to Stella Maris Parish Cemetery Fund, Inverness.
