So sorry to hear of Claire's death. She was a gentle, loving person who was so pleasant to be around. We knew her well when we were all young people starting out in Toronto many years ago and where many us met our spouses and got married there. Our sincere sympathy to all her family and cling to your fond memories of her. May she Rest In Peace.

I am deeply heartbroken over the loss of this sweet gentle lady.  While I didn't know her very well, I did have the privilege of spending time with her at her home and it was easy to see why she was so loved. She never complained when we prepared the food in her kitchen for the food truck. She just smiled and embraced us all.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charlie MacDonald; their two sons, Brian (Kim) MacDonald and Donald (Wendy) MacDonald; as well as three grandchildren, Brianna (David), Tamara (Ryan), Jessica (Logan); and great grandchildren, Kayden and Lochlan. She is also survived by sisters, Edna Suitor, Catherine (Bill) Mac Gillivary, Grace (Mike) Tapics, Lillian (Cecil) Dunlap, Martha (Richard) Gillis, Monica (George) Goodall; brothers, Donald Mac Isaac, Willie (Louise) Mac Isaac, Allan (Mariss) Mac Isaac, Robert (Sadia) Mac Isaac; sisters-in-law, Carm Mac Isaac, Gerri Mac Isaac; brother-in-law, Finley Beaton and many nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by sisters, Mary (Angus) Beaton,Theresa Gillis; brothers, Angus Mac Isaac, Byron Mac Isaac, Donald Francis in infancy; brothers-in-law, John Suitor, John (Mary) MacDonald, Allan MacDonald; sisters-in-law Anna (Jack) MacDonald, Josie Beaton.
