William Henry Blackwell III (Bill) was born on June 25, 1956, to William Henry Blackwell, Jr. and Leona Franklin Blackwell in Macon, GA. On October 4, 2022, in Indianapolis, IN, God called him home to join his Army of guardian angels and he departed as a faithful follower with His hands clasped in prayer.
Bill attended and graduated from Kitzingen High School in Germany, Class of 1974. Thereafter, he began his journey in the United States Army.
Bill was a social man. He enjoyed socializing with neighbors and friends. He was always known to speak with family on a daily basis. He was loveable and never knew a stranger, as he interacted with everyone. All throughout his life, Bill did things his own way with determination. He showed his character every day
in his interactions with everyone he knew. A hard worker, he was also extremely kind. He always gave out candy whenever he would go places. He was helpful to those who asked for assistance. He was a caring brother, loving father, and loyal friend. It was rare to hear anything negative about him.
