Thomas E. "Griff" Griffin II

Thomas E. "Griff" Griffin, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 26, 1944 to parents Thomas E. Griffin Sr. and Jean Ann (Kelley) Griffin. Griff graduated from Scecina Memorial High School and attended Butler University before going on to join the US Air Force for three and a half years. He was employed with the Indiana Department of Transportation for over 40 years, retiring as a Federal Aid Supervisor. Griff was a devout member of Little Flower Catholic Church. He had a special place in his heart for the University of Notre Dame, Indianapolis Colts, and Scecina Memorial High School. Griff was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his dear friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 from 4PM to 8PM with a remembrance and a rosary beginning at 7PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 10AM at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E 13th St, Indianapolis, IN 46201, with one hour of visitation prior. Griff will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery immediately following Mass. For guests who plan to attend, please feel free to wear apparel of the Colts, Scecina Memorial High School, or Notre Dame. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scecina Memorial High School or Little Flower Catholic Church.
