He married Toni Lobdell on August 3, 1962 in Indianapolis and retired from a career at Von Duprin.
Ted had many hobbies including bass fishing in tournaments and bodybuilding, and he was also Mr. Indiana Over 40. He also loved building car engines and restoring vintage cars. He was member of AA since 1964 and was also a member of Wallace St. Evangelical Church.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents Theodore Laurence Locke Jr., and Jean Locke as well as his brothers Robert and Michael Locke.
He is survived by his loving wife Toni, son Anthony, grandchildren Joshua (Krisite) and Joel (Aly), 2 great grandsons Gavinn and Jaxson, 3 great granddaughters Alaya, Ellie, and Jayda, sister Cindy (Hendrick), and brothers Jeff (Janel) and Twig (Nancy).
Services for Ted will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W 38th St. Indianapolis, IN on Friday, October 18th with visitation from 10:30AM-1:30 PM and a service to follow at 1:30PM. Ted will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
