Sharon Marie Wagner

Sharon Marie Wagner, age 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Sharon was born February 6, 1958 in Indianapolis to Paul "Dick" and Mary Agnes (O'Brian) Wagner. Sharon attended St. Pius X grade school and graduated from Bishop Chatard High School in 1976. After high school, she earned her Associate's Degree from Purdue University. Sharon worked for Speedway Motel for many years. She went on to work for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for 23 years, beginning at Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House, and then 19 years as Business Manager for St. Pius X Parish. Sharon was known for her willingness to work long and hard to meet the needs of the parish family and the greater community.

Sharon is survived by her son, Chris Wagner; siblings, Mike (Michele) Wagner, John (Regina) Wagner, Mark (the late Julie) Wagner, Deacon Rick (Carol) Wagner and Steve (Angela) Wagner; stepmother, Donna Wagner and additional siblings, Mark (James) Crayton and Cathy (Jim) Fiala. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Paul "Dick" Wagner and Mary Agnes (O'Brian) Wagner.

A visitation for Sharon will be held on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. Pius X Parish, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240. A second visitation will take place Thursday, July 20th from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM also at St. Pius X Parish. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.

Sharon will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
