She was a retired LPN. She was a member of Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. She was Honorary Member of New Birth Lifeline Ministries. She was an active member of Crispus Attucks Alumni Association and former employee of the Crispus Attucks Museum. She is survived by, her husband, Lindsey L. Crowe, Sr., sons, Pastor Lindsey L. Crowe, Jr., (Renee’), Duane T. Crowe (Dorothy Lee), Earl L. Crowe and Paul T. Crowe (Antoinette), daughters, Varita Y. Mattox (Kevin) and Eugenia A. Crowe, brother, Robert J. Taylor (Betty Ann), sisters, Martha Ann Denny and Elizabeth Taylor, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration will be held Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 12:00 p.m. at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church 4141 N. High School Rd. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
