Robert Lee Quinnette, age 88, of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. Robert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Freeman and Helen Quinnette. Robert was a Tile Setter having worked at McFarren Kane and Wishard Hospital. He was an avid Golfer having played on a league and had been a Bowler. He was a member of the American Legion in Brownsburg and the Carpenters Union. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Walker) Quinnette; his grandsons, Jeremy Doyle who was killed in action in Iraq and Joshua Doyle; his great-granddaughter, Ashtyn; his brother Bill Quinnette also preceded him in death.
Robert is survived by his children; Debra Grove and her husband Dale, Timothy M. Quinnette and his wife Denise, and Steven Quinnette and his wife Connie; his grandchildren, Cammie Mann and her husband Donovan, Lauren Howell and her husband Mitchel, Shelby Butlin and her husband Tyler, Heather Skorjanc and her husband Dave, Magen Quinnette and Keith Quinnette; great-grandchildren, Bryston, Thaxton, Coby, Georgie, Copeland, Lallier, Indie, Rory and Kynlee; his brother, Donald Quinnette; and his loyal dog and companion Sammy.
A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, Speedway, Indiana 46224 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 followed by a Memorial Mass.
