Robert "Bob" L. Barr

Bob enjoyed fishing, loved to watch his grandkids play ball and he lived for his grandkids. He worked for McLean Trucking Company for 18 ½ years. He then spent 19 years working for American Art Clay before retiring in 2007. Bob was a member of Teamsters Local #135.

Bob married Madelynn Keith June 22, 1963. He and Madelynn spent 51 wonderful years together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Bob is survived by his wife, Madelynn Barr; loving family, Kim (Javie) Settlemoir, Robin (Eddie) Barr, Steve (Deeva) Barr, Art (Lois) Barr, Ernie (Pat) Barr, Marcella Carlin, grandchildren, Roth, Taryn, Brittany, Evan, Kaitlyn and Caleb, and great-grandchildren, Ma’Kenndra, Briley, Remmington, and Emery.

Viewing will be held Oct. 8th from 1:00-8:00pm in Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Oct. 9th at 1:00pm in Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224. Entombment will immediately follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
