Myrna Jean Quick

63, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on January 22, 2017. Myrna was born March 28, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Laura Welch, and her brother Dennis Welch. Myrna is survived by her husband William Quick, her daughters, Melissa McRee (husband Kenny), Amber Jaynes and step-son Brian Quick (Carey). Also her grandchildren, Jennifer, Kenny, Laura, Michael, Matthew, MaKalob, Madison, Eliza, Braden, Cooper, Teegan, 7 great-grandchildren and her sister; Lavone Spickler.

During her early working life, she was employed in the food service industry. From service to management to actually overseeing the opening of a local Indianapolis restaurant. Later she became an administrative assistant to the two owners of Triden Construction Supply. Her expertise was general administration and Human Resources. When the company was purchased, she continued in that position until being forced to retire due to ill health. Myrna enjoyed her family, reading, listening to music, traveling and nature.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 11:30am-1:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be immediately following at 1:00pm.
