Mrs. Barbara Lee Shepard 81 of Indianapolis Passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. She retired for Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance Center. She was a member of Berean Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Gertrude Banks Merriweather, sisters, Eunice I. Meriweather Van Horn, Erma R. Merriweather-Richardson, brother, Chester A. Merriweather. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Robert Ethan Harrison and Jonathan A. Shepard, daughters, Diane E. Beck (Michael), Stacye A. Benjamin, Donna Kay Jones, step daughter, Virginia L. Huckleby, brother, Charles E. Merriweather (Norma), sister, Thelma C. Johnson (Clarence), 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Tue. Nov. 29, 2011 12:00 p.m. at Berean Bible Church, 5602 N. Allisonville Road with Visitation from 10:00 a.m. burial in New Crown Cemetery.
