58, of Holland, MI, departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Michael was born in Greenfield, IN on November 2, 1955, to John and Mary Ann (Kibler) Leahy. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School, the University of Notre Dame and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, MI campus. He practiced law in the Holland area and attended St. Francis Catholic Church in Holland, MI.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Leahy, his son, John (Jack) Leahy, brothers: John, Thomas, Gerald and James Leahy, sisters: Katherine Hoefle, Margaret Pike, Ann Court and Patricia Lucas, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am, Friday, January 10, 2014 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holiday Drive E. Indianapolis, IN 46260. Visitation will begin at church at 9:30 am and conclude at time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
