Michael was born in Indianapolis to Belford Davis and Katherine March on July 25, 1979. He attended Pike High School where he was active on the varsity basketball team and played quarterback on the football team. After graduation, he enrolled at Lincoln Tech in the auto mechanic program. Michael worked as a top car salesman for many years. He was a veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps. While serving in the Marines, Michael was promoted to the office of Lance Corporal.
Michael loved to cook for his family. He was founder of Mike D. Gaming Club. His private club included his closet friends and family. He was known as Mike D to his friends and family. Michael loved to compete with his friends and cousins in virtual games. He loved to play chess. He was very kind, and passionate. He had a growing concern about the homeless, and recently spoke with his mother, Katherine, about plans to help the homeless Michael was a proud father to his girls Oliviah and Omarah. They were the apples of his eye. Michael loved all of his family, and absolutely adored his mother Katherine. Kelly, his sister, was his best friend. Michael is preceded in death by grandparents Clarence Foster Sr and Robert (Betty) Davis.
Michael is survived by his mother, Katherine (Kenny) March Father, Belford (Pearl) Davis, grandmother Earline Foster, children Oliviah Davis, Omarah Davis, siblings, Kelly Liggans, Rhonda Davis Jerry Davis, Robert Davis, Malinda Stein ,Tracy Davis, Latrice Davis, Deon Liggans, and Denitra Liggans, and a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 9:00 am -12:00 pm.
Celebration of Life will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2020 at12:00 pm. Bishop Rockland Lay of Changing Places Ministries, Officiant. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home.
