83, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2011. She was born November 21, 1927 in Indianapolis to Jesse L. and Marie F. (Gimble) Bunch. Mary Lou graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1945. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Silvertones, Goldenares, American Legion # 495, Women of the Moose # 17 and Local 22 Ironworkers Oldtimers Club. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Matthew F. “Bud” Walpole, son Thomas M. Walpole, brothers Jess and Robert Bunch. She is survived by her children Nancy (Joseph) Hogan, Mary Lou (Chris) Kocher, Linda (David) Taylor, Lisa (Jason) Fisher, William J. (Kathy), Robert J. and David B. Walpole, 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday July 1, 2011 from 2-8 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and Saturday July 2, 2011 from 9-10 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Mary Lou’s name may be made to the Franciscan St. Francis Healthcare Foundation.
