Lynn Pulliam was the first born to the late Lynn Pulliam Sr.and Frances Johnson Pulliam, on March 30th 1943, in SIMSBORO, ARKANSAS. Lynn and his parents moved to Indianapolis when he was very young. He attended the IPS school system, #56. Lynn graduated from Arsenal Technical High school and later graduated from IUPUI at Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Lynn married his wife Maccie Ingram Pulliam and moved to Warsaw, Indiana where they resided for the past thirty (30) years. He was employed by Zimmer/Bristol Meyers Squibb as a Validation Specialist for over twenty (20) years, retiring
in 2002.
Lynn's was always a big advocate for education, encouraging his family and friends to strive for higher goals. While employed full time he received his MBA in Business, May, 1990 from INDIANA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY. After retiring; Lynn started his own tax consultancy business; along with several other small businesses. One of major accomplishments close to his heart was co- founding the first Martin Luther King Jr. program in Warsaw, Indiana. Lynn was the CO-FOUNDER-CEO and program president for 25 years receiving a plaque in his honor from the Mayor of Warsaw for his 25 years of service. Lynn was a lover of people and had and outgoing personality; and through a constant involvement with people he started a real ministry through working for people. Lynn
became a member of COME AS YOU ARE COMMUNITY CHURCH under the leadership of PASTOR/TEACHER, ANTHONY PAYTON of Fort Wayne.
Lynn also enjoyed teaching and would spend many hours researching scriptures
for weekly in home Bible study lessons. Lynn wanted to share with friends and family that if could help someone along the way then his living will not be in vain. Lynn departed this life on January 6, 2015 at the age of 71.
He leaves to cherish his memories; loving wife Maccie; son, Charles Pulliam(Gloria), sister Annie Pulliam, two granddaughters, Jasmine and Makay la Pulliam, a nephew Harold Pulliam and a host of nieces and nephews, and several
step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015, 9am - 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home. The burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
