Leonard Gale Rickett, 75, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Leonard was born November 26, 1949 in Grapevine, Kentucky the son of the late Fred Rickett, Jr. and Lena Rickett.
Leonard owned Rickett Construction for over 40 years. However, his greatest joy was as a softball coach for his daughter and their traveling softball team. He also enjoyed baseball, bowling but above all having family around all the time.
Leonard is survived by his wife; Brenda Rickett, daughter; Angela "Jenna" (Rick) Lynn, sisters; Cherri Belser, Karen Helton, Freda Shepherd and Debbie (Jaime) Mann, brother; Tony Bill Rickett, grandchildren; Chelsea (Christopher) Morris and Tyler Lynn, and great grandchildren; Tyler, Jaxon and Maverick Morris and Karsyn Lynn. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Terry Rickett.
A memorial gathering for Leonard will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
Leonard will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery, 709 Harding St, Plainfield, Indiana 46168.
