Kathy graduated from Indiana University in 1967. She was a teacher for IPS and she also worked for Noble of Indiana. After retirement, Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She had a gift of gab.
Kathy is survived by her children, Robert Pierpont and Jennifer (Brian) Goacher; grandchildren, Lindsey Harness and Grace, Mia and Meredith Goacher; siblings, Theresa (Mark) Slaton and Peggy Pfau; and niece, Kristin (Steve) Ahaus. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Peter McCormick; parents, Charles and Josephine Pfau; and brother, Charles "Butch" Pfau.
A visitation for Kathy will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM.
Kathy will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
