Janie was born January 24, 1927, to the late Mack and Lenora Germany. Janie is survived by her daughters: Ann Silvey, and Janie Lynn Wilkenson; her son Charles N. Moore Jr., and her other daughter, Joan Powell, as well as seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Janie was a registered nurse for 40+ years, even sharing her knowledge and passion of nursing at Ball State University to younger generations. She worked as a church secretary and co-pastor with her husband, Charles Moore, at several churches throughout the nation.
Janie will be missed by many as a beloved daughter, sister, and mother.
Janie's family has selected private cremation services entrusted to Little and Sons Funeral Home in Indianapolis, Indiana.
