Gloria Francine Willaert

Gloria Francine Willaert (Holzsager), 85, of Indianapolis, passed away November 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 1, 1935 in Bronx, New York to the late Leon and Esther (Feldman) Holzsager. Gloria held various clerical positions before retiring, but her most important job was “Executive Homemaker.” As a military wife, she was responsible for taking care of her children while her husband, Paul, would travel. She was also very hardworking and a good friend to many. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also belonged to a Square Dance club. Gloria is survived by her children, Kathy (Richard) Logan, Bobbie Romaine (partner Richard LeMay, and James (Jenifer) Willaert; grandchildren, Anthony Logan, Douglas (Amy) Willaert, David Romaine, and Megan (Johnny) Hardcastle. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Paul Willaert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. A private graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
