Born November 2, 1943 to Alvin L. Morgan and Gertrude H. Bowles Morgan in Seymour, Indiana. In 1952 Alvin moved his family to New Castle, Indiana where David graduated from Chrysler High School in 1961. He attended a Business College in Indianapolis for 2 years and became a draftsman employed by Chicago Title Insurance Company working in downtown Indianapolis. He worked for Chicago Title for many years managing the Noblesville branch. On November 26, 1977 he married the love of his life Beverly K. Linxwiler. In 1981 David and Beverly started The Morgan & Associates Title Agency and led the business for over 20 years where he became well respected in the real estate and title insurance community. They lived and raised their kids in Noblesville and Carmel, Indiana. David retired from Morgan and Associates and became a Title Insurance Auditor/Investigator for the State of Indiana. State politics changed and he moved on to Meridian Title Company and Enterprise Title Company where he was a closer. In 2017 Dave retired and began traveling a bit to see their son Ryan in Austin, Texas and Bev’s sister Nancy in Arizona. In 2019 they settled in New Castle, Indiana.
David enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, fishing and boating. He loved classic cars and corvettes and owned a handful of each. He was a very gifted artist, wood working craftsman and carpenter. We always told him he should have been a professional landscaper because he was very skilled at that craft. He loved caring for his little dog Ali Kaylea Morgan who will miss him greatly.
