Carl Dwight Howard

Carl “Dwight” Howard, aged 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Carl was born on November 1, 1952, to the late Charlie and Lorene Howard in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carl loved watching TV, and he was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying watching the Minnesota Vikings. He was a family man who would do anything for his family and earned his title as the “Coolest” friend’s Dad. He loved cooking and playing cards at family gatherings. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be missed by many. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Howard, and their son Josh Howard; his siblings: Carolyn Howard-Mason, Joey (Becky) Howard, Linda Peace, and Steven "Fon" Howard. Also, survived by his sisters-in-law Charlene Spencer, Tina Barker, Barb Keller, his niece Ginn Kelly, his nephews Jack "Chump" Nichols, Ritchie Nichols, Joe Howard, Daniel Tanner, his nieces Robbie Peace, Nikki Spencer, Shelly Beck, Tiffany Keller, and his fur babies Titan and Kaya, as well as many more nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his in-laws Barbara and Charlie Milam, his brother Carlie Howard Jr, his sisters Mary, Dorothy, and his brother Darrell Howard, and his fur baby Rudy. A public visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
