Anna Frances Parker, 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away December 5, 2024. She was born February 2, 1943 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to Walter L. and Margaret H. (Pearl) Coleman. Anna graduated from Fleming County High. She worked for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis for 30 years.
Anna accepted Christ at a young age and then united with Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She was an usher at Greater Gethsemane and worked with the missionary. Anna enjoyed bowling, going to concerts and taking care of her great granddaughter, Novah.
Anna is survived by her children, Antoine Parker and Marquetta (Kurt) Navarro; grandchildren, Gentry, Martell, Ayrrika, Mariah, Mya and Antoine II “AJ”; great granddaughter, Novah; sister, Helen Coleman; sister friends, Lillie Ragland and Ruby Carmichael; and niece, Charay Spells; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Coleman; son, Marshall Parker; grandson, Demonte Parker; brother, Maurice Coleman; and nephew, Daimione Mann.
A visitation for Anna will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 902 Doctor MLK Jr St. Indianapolis, IN 46202. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Anna will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
