Amy Willis, a beloved resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, left this world the morning of December 10th, 2023. Born in Franklin, Indiana, via Trafalgar, Indiana, she spent her formative years in the vibrant city of Indianapolis, where she was a resident her entire life. Growing up with her cherished siblings Matt and Debbie, Amy embraced life with passion and grace.
An alumna of Indiana University in the mid-80s, Amy was a woman of vibrancy, resilience, and indomitable spirit. Her love for animals, a keen eye for fashion, and an affinity for the color pink defined her vibrant personality. Whether it was enjoying a meal at her favorite restaurant, soaking up the sun, or cheering on her family in various sports activities, Amy approached life with an exuberance that was contagious.
A connoisseur of life's simple pleasures, Amy found joy in sipping cocktails and basking in the warmth of the sun on her face. Her devotion to her two children, Tyler and Olivia, was unwavering. They were not only the center of her world but also the source of immense pride and joy. Amy poured her heart and soul into creating magical birthdays and Christmases for them, embodying the essence of selfless love.
For over 15 years, Amy faced the relentless challenges of cancer with unwavering strength and courage. Her journey took her through numerous clinical trials, demonstrating not only her resilience but also her commitment to pushing the boundaries of cancer treatment and research. It is our hope that her brave fight will pave the way for future cancer patients, particularly single mothers, offering them a glimmer of hope in their darkest moments.
Amy will be remembered as a woman who epitomized fashion, selflessness, caring, love, strength, and thoughtfulness. Fiercely devoted to her family, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A calling to celebrate Amy's life will be held 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at Leppert Mortuary in Nora, on the north side of Indianapolis with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the service, all are invited to a Celebration of Life Party at the North Willow Farms Clubhouse 1635 Brewster Road, Indianapolis, IN.
