Bill was born on July 29, 1929 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. On April 15, 1949, he married the love of his life, Bonnie. They raised two daughters, Brenda and Rhonda, and their granddaughter, Sandra.
Bill was an electrician, spending the majority of his career with Lacy Electric and Electric Corporation of America (ECA). He retired in 1990. Bill took great pride in his work and spent his weekends with friends and family, fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks. In his retirement years, he enjoyed playing golf. He loved his family, liked Westerns and country music, and was known for dressing sharp for Sunday church.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bonnie, his daughters, Brenda Collins and Rhonda Vaughn, his granddaughter Sandra Cassell, and his great-grandchildren, Joshua Cassell and Abigail Cassell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO 64050.
