In addition she actively worked with others to help Women receive much needed recognition for their contributions to Military Service, as evidenced by the Dedicated Arlington Cemetery Gate recognizing their service. An additional example is the time and effort she put into ensuring the success of a 50th Anniversary recognition of WWII. Because she was such a great organizer, her Superior Officers assigned her to help with this project, she invited Flight Nurses from WWII, Korea and Vietnam so they would receive recognition and much deserved Honor for their Service to our Country. The keynote speaker at this event standing in for his Dad, was our future president George W. Bush.
