To all Brian’s family:
Our deepest sympathies to you at the passing of Brian, whose obituary I recently read.  He was a good friend growing up together in the 40’s-50’s .  Brian was especially a very dear and caring friend as well as advisor to my late mother, Gertrude Clement, during all her life including her last days at New Horizons and later at a local nursing home until her death in 2003. Lee and family:  As a brothers at the bar and as sailors, Brian and I (and my wife who worked at my Marlboro office) had a shared relationship that included the vagaries of the law and the winds of Buzzards Bay.  Brian was a both a consummate gentleman, and a knowledgeable lawyer  that also included what many do not possess  "good common sense".   We shared some cases and some clients successfully as that term is used carefully in the law. Brian's  skills  and abilities  will be missed by the community he served and personally by my wife and  I.    Bruce and Alda Ledoux

I was deeply saddened by the news of Brian's passing away Mary Ellen Faye called and told me the sad news Brian and I have been friends since around 19 54 we met at craigville when his parents are renting a house and continue the friendship these many many years he'll be deeply missed this wonderful man a true friend and family and very compassionate about his community love to all of you I'm in Florida now I will remember him at Mass tomorrow and Sunday a mass remembrance to all of you love and prayers Paul

We remember seeing Fred as he attended to Lee’s gardens and his always green grass. He has a true green thumb and there were never any weeds. The gardens were  beautiful and a joy for the community.  We shall miss seeing Fred and Lee on their walks still holding hands.  We extend our sincere sympathies to Lee and her family.  Peter and Kathleen Caldera, Tom and Stephanie Greene, John and Barbara Greene, Michael Greene, Sabina and Bob Troy, and Maureen and Ed Martin.

Fred, Brian to many of us, joined his dad’s firm as a young lawyer but he was his own man  who set his own course and the course was always true.  He navigated the competitive and sometimes stormy worlds  of law and sailing honorably with dignity, grace, and humble humor. Both are poorer for his loss. Brian was my dad’s lawyer, our family business lawyer and my lawyer and yet he was so much more. His guidance was always there.  He was a true friend. His family is in my prayers. I am very sad He is not here to call, to talk with, to get advice, but I am joyful he is with our Lord and he knows no pain only Joy.
