G. Wayne Walker, 78 of Huntsville, AL passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Wayne was born in Huntsville, AL on October 3, 1940. He was preceded in death by his father, A. M. Walker; mother, Orine Walker; brother, Mick Walker.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Peggy Walker; daughter, Sharron Hadaway (James); son, Bryan Walker (Joni); sister, Pat Atnip (Joe); grandchildren, Mallory Hadaway, Evan Hadaway, Bryanna Walker Gowan (Alex), along with several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a graduate of SR Butler High School in 1959. He retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service. Wayne was a member of University Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Eddie Hilderbrand, will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 6:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home.
