Voncile "Bonnie" Bice

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, gardening, and serving her church. She was a loving and committed wife of 63 years and a devoted mother to her sons. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many hours working in the yard, planting flowers, and working in the garden. She had a unique and special way of making people feel loved and welcomed in her home. Bonnie was a faithful member of Highlands Baptist Church for 58 years serving in the kitchen, teaching, and investing in the Kingdom of God.

Bonnie is survived by her sons Bruce Bice (Donna) of Meridianville, Alabama, Randy Bice of Bessemer, Alabama, and Lynn Bice, honorary daughter-in-law of Meridianville, Alabama, David Bice (Amanda) of Toney, Alabama, Reverend Rodney Bice (Pamela) of Riceville, Tennessee; stepbrother, Wayne Fowler, stepbrother, Don Fowler, stepsister, Linda Hatchett and stepbrother, Robert Fowler; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Bonnie is preceded by her husband Elton L. "BeBe" Bice, her parents, William Tell and Lera Ellen McGrady, her stepmother, Gladys, and her sisters, Louise Hodges and Leverne Bice.

A visitation for Bonnie will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
