RANDALL KNIGHT November 21, 1939 – July 10, 2015 James Randall Knight, 75, passed away at his residence on Friday, July 10, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, L. D. and Audrey Barteen Kidd Knight. Left to cherish his precious memory is his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Inza Street Knight; his daughter, Susan Knight Duthie and her husband Graeme Duthie of Huntsville; brother, Philip Knight and his wife Sherry of Montgomery; 3 grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Justin Greaves, Sarah Duthie, Michael Duthie of Huntsville; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylee Ledford, Abby Kate Ledford, Aiden Ledford, and Gavin Greaves of Huntsville; 2 nephews, Matthew Knight of Savannah, GA, and Benjamin Knight; 1 niece, Amy Knight Hawk; and several other friends and relatives. Randall was an all around good man that everybody just loved to be around. He was a student of the Bible and loved to discuss it with family and friends. Randall took an early retirement at 55 so that he could play more golf, which he did faithfully 3 times a week! He loved Alabama Football. He was such a giving and caring person he would help anyone at any time! Randall Knight was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him! He was a wonderful husband; father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and citizen. He had the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that would go on for days. He always made people feel warm and welcome. He always had a fun joke to share, and his laughter was contagious. The Knight family is planning a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at their residence on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM.
