Lenita met the love of her life Jack Cahoon and together they built a large and strong family. She loved life and cared deeply for her family, she was committed to her faith, studied the bible on a regular basis, and taught bible classes for many years at Bethany Baptist Church. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and took pleasure in engaging her family and being an integral part of their lives.
Lenita is survived by her children; Jackie Cresswell, Brenda Davis(John), Cheryl Johnson(Carlos) and Michael Cahoon(Lisa). Grand children; Brian Cresswell, Amy Mitchell, Seth Cresswell, Johnny Davis Jr, Allison Cole, Angela Davis, Matthew Tucker, Adam Tucker, Christy Carter, Jessica Young, and Ben Cahoon.
Lenita was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cahoon, and her daughter Janice Tucker.
A visitation for Lenita will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
