John F. (Jack) Jones Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Valhalla Funeral Home, Huntsville, with Evangelist David A. Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Thursday.

Jack, as he was affectionately known, was born on February 13, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Fred F. Jones, Sr. and Ruby Hall Jones. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed working with wood, golfing, fishing, sports, drawing and art. Jack retired from civil service as a computer operator on Redstone Arsenal.

Jack leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Brenda Jones; son, John F. (Johnny) Jones, III; mother, Ruby Jones; sister Karen Rauschkolb (Steve); stepdaughters, Laura Waddell and Kim Waddell; granddaughter, Mackenzie Woodall; and grandson, Christian Woodall.
