34 Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 35 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. 36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?[a] 37 Is anything worth more than your soul?
Jeremiah Adam Twilley was born at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on Wednesday, September 22, 1999 to Jeff and Erin Twilley.
Jeremiah was a man of good fortune, faith, kindness and inspiration. However, before any of those things, he was an amazing friend, brother, son and husband. It wasn't his resources or knowledge that made him all those things, it was simply his reliability and love he had for many. From the time of his birth to his last breath he made it his mission to help any and everyone he came in contact with. Jeremiah didn't have friends- only family.
Although he will be dearly missed, loved and cherished, Jeremiah will forever live amongst the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Sigma Beta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., throughout Alabama A&M, and lastly in God's love.
As he leaves his lasting impact on this Earth, remember God reminds us in Isaiah 60:22 “ When the time is right, I the Lord, will make it happen.” Let us sleep in peace knowing that God is in control.
At Peace
God promises to never give us more than we can bare…God saw the road was getting rough, and the hills becoming steeper… He knew it was time to fulfill His promise and bring Jeremiah back home.
The wery hours, days of pain and sleepless nights have passed. The ever loving patient flame has finally found peace at last.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.valhallafunerals.com for the Twilley family.
