Jan Copeland, age 89, of Brownsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Jan was born June 1, 1932 in Jemison, Alabama to Hixie A and James W Heflin.

Jan graduated from Jemison High School. She would spend many years working at art supply stores, and working with her hands to create beautiful hand carved animals. When she was able you could find her at the bowling alley, fishing, or spending time with family and friends.

Jan is survived by her sons Craig Benson,and Sammy Benson (Barbara); step-son Ricky Copeland; several grandchildren and extended family.

A Chapel service was held Friday, February 11, 2022 at Valhalla Funeral Home
