Grady Wilson Jr.

After living in the South for many years, Grady settled in Gary, Indiana. Grady married Rosemary Diane Walker on April 29, 1969. Grady was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Grady was a very hardworking man, and received undeniable recognitions in all positions he has ever worked, for always being such an exceptional worker. He worked as a construction worker all the way up to his retirement in 2004.

Grady loved God, and he had a passion for helping others in any way that he could. He loved spending time with his loved ones, being outdoors, and volunteering his time at church. Grady lived his life in the most Christian way he knew how.

Grady is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary; daughters, Teresa of Athens, Alabama and Shirley Ware of Lincolnton, Georgia; son, Darryl of Huntsville, Alabama; sister, Hattie Clark of Gary, Indiana; brother, Charles Wilson (Juanita) of Augusta, Georgia; grandchildren, Albany, Christian, Brandon all of Gary, Indiana, Tiarra of Huntsville, Alabama, Marcus of Tuskegee, Alabama, Jordan of Huntsville, Brianna of New Jersey, and Ava of Huntsville, Alabama.

Close Family; sisters, Lillie Daughty, Evelyn Clark; brothers, Robert Walker, Jr (Ellen), Olen Walker (Mildred); close nephew; Marcus Martin (Pamela) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A public viewing for Grady will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. A homegoing service will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church, 2115 Winchester Road NW, Huntsville, AL 35810.

Grady will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, AL 35811; Garden of Crosses.
