Mr. Daniel Francis Conte

Daniel Francis Conte passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Conte and Filomena DiGiorgio.

Mr. Conte is survived by his wife, Maria Conte of Huntsville; 2 sons, Cesidio Conte and his wife, Donna Conte of Montgomery; John Conte and wife Kathy Conte of Boston; one daughter, Tina McGrath and husband Patrick McGrath of Huntsville; 7 grandchildren, Nathanael Conte, Jacob Conte, Joseph Conte, Joshua Conte, Alyssa McGrath, Anthony McGrath, Patrick and Brandy McGrath; 7 Great Grandchildren, Cayden Blake, Elizabeth McGrath, Patrick McGrath III, Savannah McGrath, Bradly McGrath, Kaylee McGrath and Layla McGrath.

Daniel Conte was born in Buffalo New York and married his wife Maria, in Roccamorice Pescara, Italy on December 21, 1958. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Redstone Arsenal Catholic Community and St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish. Mr. Conte was a retired United States Army Veteran with 2 tours in Vietnam, Recon Ranger service and was awarded the Bronze Star and 2 Army Accommodations. Mr. Conte was also a member of the Bowler Associations.

You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 4 to 7pm. A Funeral Service with full Military Honors, officiated by Father Joe Lubrano will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
