Charles " Buddy " Patterson October 16, 1930- August 24, 2014 Charles " Buddy " Patterson passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.O. and Minnie Bell Patterson, sisters; Dove McCollum and Neida Sublett. Mr. Patterson was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Meridianville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife; Rita Spencer Patterson, daughters; Donna Talley, Terri Ezell ( Frank) and Jan Hopper ( Bill ) ; granddaughters, Megan Ezell, Lacey Todd, Sarah Hopper, and Jennifer Vanderbles, grandsons; Tommy Hopper and Jeff Hopper, great granddaughters, Alley Alday and Loren Todd, nephews, Larry Sublett, and Mike Sublett, nieces, Barbara Bell, Marilyn Harbin, and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26 form 5:00 till 8:00 Pm. The funeral service will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Mapel Hill Cemetery
