Bill Simmons Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Nina Simmons; daughter, Denise Fredrickson (Bob); daughter, Julie Cleveland (David); daughter-in-law, Diane Peden; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill was a former Deacon at University Baptist Church. He was a member of Willowbrook Baptist Church. He also was a long time volunteer at Huntsville Hospital. Bill enjoyed hunting, golf and was a University of Alabama Football fan.

You may visit with the family on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00pm in Valhalla’s Chapel, officiated by Pastor Steve Lacy. Interment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
