Betty Jean Trotman Davis was born September 14, 1929 to Samuel and Lucille Trotman in Decatur, Alabama and passed away on November 21, 2023.
Betty graduated from Decatur High School in 1948. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Colonel Jack A. Davis. Betty was mother to three children, Robert Preston Chaney married to Denise Marie Chaney, Robin Lee Chaney, and Bobbie Jean Chaney Pridemore married to Clyle Anthony Toney Pridemore. She was grandmother to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church. She is also survived by her three remaining sisters, Sue Garner, Gail Peete, and Mary Jo Nelson, all of Decatur, Alabama.
Visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life service at 10:30 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel.
Betty will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, AL.
