Mary Christie Eherenman, 93 of Warsaw passed away Thursday morning, October 10, 2024 at her residence. She was a 1953 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Education and later in 1971 received her Master's degree in Education from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mary was a resident of Warsaw since 1968. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years; 25 of those at Madison Elementary in Warsaw, retiring in 1992.
Mary was born on July 2, 1931 in Muskegon, Michigan, a daughter of Dr. R. Wilson and Viola C. (Casper) Christie.
She was united in marriage to Philip W. Eherenman in 1954, they were married for 52 years before his death in 2006.
Survivors include: four children: Phil (Sandy) Eherenman, Christie (Dave) Sears, MaryAnn (Jesse) Frandsen, Bob (Missy) Eherenman and with 7 grandchildren.
The family is planning a private service at a later date.
