Mary Ann Hendricks, 84 of Huntington passed away peacefully at 2:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her residence. Mary Ann was a devoted wife and mother for 64 years.

She was born on September 29, 1937 in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of late Dan and Nora (Fults) Smart.

She was united in marriage to Jack D. Hendricks on January 15, 1958 in Fort Wayne. Jack preceded her in death.

Mary Ann is survived by two sons: Jeff Hendricks of Atlanta, GA; Greg Hendricks of Minneapolis, MN; a daughter-in-law: Liz Hendricks of Minneapolis, MN; grandson: Piers Byron of Cardiff, Wales UK; a brother: Bob Smart of Huntington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Herb Rose, Homer Smart, James Smart and Dan Smart, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to LOVE Inc. in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
